  • Publication on our website does not guarantee inclusion in the monthly newsletter.

  • We carefully select news to ensure a balanced mix of topics and companies, while avoiding excessive coverage of the same subject.

  • If you have editorial content that focuses on sharing valuable insights rather than promoting your company, explore our guidelines for contributing to the newsletter. Editorial contributions are free of charge.

  • Complete information: All required event details, including a relevant image, are provided.

Can events with an attendance fee be promoted?

How should event titles and texts be written?
  • Language: US English only
  • Title: Short and catchy, maximum 65 characters including spaces. Longer titles will be shortened. Must focus on the event topic, without company names or years.

  • Capitalize only the first word of a sentence and proper names, both in titles and text.

  • Avoid duplicate information. Enter the event location, date, website link and contact details in the designated fields of the submission form, not in the description.

  • No promotional content. Do not mention event sponsors or include advertising or “About us” texts. Your company profile in the Swiss Biotech Directory is automatically linked to your event.

  • Avoid abbreviations. Spell out names in full

Which pictures are accepted?
  • Include an image that illustrates your event, ideally 2000 × 1000 pixels for optimal quality.
  • Images containing text are not accepted, as our responsive website design automatically resizes and crops them to fit different screen sizes, making texts unreadable on small screens.
  • If no suitable image is provided, our default event image will be used.

Jobs

Which jobs do we publish?

We welcome job postings aimed at professionals in the Swiss biotech industry. All submissions are reviewed, and we reserve the right to decide whether a job posting is published.

Company profiles

What information is required for a Swiss Biotech Directory profile?
  • You are responsible for maintaining your company’s profile in the Swiss Biotech Directory.
  • While certain fields are mandatory to ensure consistent and meaningful entries, we encourage you to complete all available fields, add images and include information about your product pipeline, if applicable. This includes both marketed drug products and those in development.
  • All entries undergo a quality check and are published only after approval by the Swiss Biotech Association.
Who can edit a company profile in the Swiss Biotech Directory?

Each company profile in the Swiss Biotech Directory can have only one authorized editor. If you are unsure who has access to your company’s profile, contact us for assistance.

How should the company address be entered?
  • Enter your company address in a format that Google Maps can recognize and locate correctly.
  • Do not include additional address details in the location field. Instead, use the “Additional address info” field below the map.
What are the requirements for images?
  • Cover image: Choose an illustrative image without text or logos to represent your company. The ideal format is JPG, 2000 × 1000 pixels. Images are automatically cropped to fit different screen sizes and layouts, so details near the edges may be cut off.
  • Company icon: Upload a square image, ideally 500 × 500 pixels, featuring a simplified version of your company logo. This icon appears on maps, in your news listings and elsewhere on our website.
